The Holiday Season of High Stress! Ensure Your Clients Get the R&R They Need During the Holiday Season

Tis the season to be jolly, so ensure that your clients get the stress relief they need during the holiday season. We all know that promoting gift certificates for spa services is a great gift, and many of your customers or their friends and significant others will be in your place of business buying gift certificates for the special people in their lives. Make sure that you properly promote the gift giver giving themselves something special this holiday season as well. The holidays can add stress to all of our lives, and spa services – massage, skin treatments, and everything else that we offer can do a lot more to sooth the shattered nerves of a holiday shopper than pills and artificial or chemical means. In fact, alcohol and some medications can add more stress to the body and the sleep that comes from “relaxation” from artificial means is usually not as restful as one would imagine and hope for. However, spa services can give pure and total relaxation.

To promote this concept make a large poster, or two or three that just flat out say what you want to get across: a big banner headline that says:

STRESS RELIEVE AVAILABLE NOW: Gift Givers – you owe it to yourself to relieve some stress. Talk to your clinician about getting rid of your stress today! Special holiday shopper discounts available.

After making and posting the large posters to grab the in house business that just walks in the door, try adding this to your holiday newspaper ads. Or, better yet, a radio campaign. Many people are just looking for an excuse to try some hedonistic pleasures, and others have never been to a spa and have always been curious about it. If you promote holiday shopper discounts and the concept of the shopper treating themselves you’ll undoubtedly see a large influx of new business. New clients and those that you haven’t seen in a while will drop by and the cash register will ring. And with any luck many of these new clients will be so impressed by the great way they feel at the end of the season that they will become regulars in the future. In fact, any holiday is a great excuse for a new marketing campaign. Don’t forget the obvious new customers that are potentially walking in your door these days.
