Getting Your Spa Ready for Your Most Successful Christmas Season Ever! Part One
Part One – Giving Back to Your Clients Will Increase Your Business Well into 2009
It is NEVER too early to start planning your Holiday Season business strategies… Wait too long and you miss out! Plan early and it can secure your best business year ever – both in terms of revenues and loyal clients.
This year, give your clients gift certificates instead of wine or chocolates for Christmas and you’ll secure their business for 2009, locking them in to get their spa experience in your facility and retaining them as good customers. Why not? After all, you will be giving your clients something to show your appreciation this holiday system, and you know that they like your services. If not they would not be your clients. Also, encourage other businesses to do the same. It would be a great marketing tool to sell other businesses you are familiar with on the idea of giving gift certificates to your spa, and it would even be worthwhile to offer them a discount based on volume. The money will flow into your coffers instead of into the chocolate shop or the liquor store, and will be healthier for them. This will probably grab you several new regular customers, so a discount is in order.Making the gift certificates for a small spa should be fairly easy. You can visit the local office supply store and buy pre-made gift certificates that will fit into your computer printer. You’ll be able to number gift certificates to be sure that all returned to you are legitimate. You’ll also be able to individualize and customize each of the gift certificates by putting the client’s name on the certificate, giving it a unique look and proving your thoughtfulness. You might want to make the gift certificate good for one particular procedure or service, or give it a dollar value to be applied towards the total bill. Ether way have its benefits and will be appreciated by the clients. However, if you make it a total dollar volume amount, of lets say twenty dollars, and your average client spends forty or more dollars when they visit your spa, you’ll automatically be increasing your cash flow. When they use their free gift they will also be spending money. Making it good for a free facial though also has benefits since the client will probably want another service while there as well. This Christmas do something nice and special for your clients and something nice and special for your business. Making and giving your clients gift certificates will make them happy and will keep them coming back for more all next year long.
